YOUTH MINISTRY (ASCENT & YOUTH FELLOWSHIP):

BUILDING THE NEXT GENERATION OF DISCIPLES

When Nehemiah rebuilt Jerusalem, he was rebuilding not only for his generation, but for those who would come after him. A community becomes strong when one generation faithfully prepares the next.

That is the heart of our Youth Ministry.

Young people face important questions as they grow: Who am I? What should I do with my life? How does my faith relate to studies, relationships, struggles and the choices I make?

One young person shared how, during a stressful season of decision-making, his Bible study group pointed him towards God and became a source of encouragement and clarity. “It wasn’t just advice; it was seeing how God’s Word actually speaks into my situation.”

This is how Christ builds His community.

Through Ascent and Youth Fellowship, our young people gather around God’s Word, build meaningful friendships and learn to follow Jesus in everyday life. Ascent walks particularly with those aged 17–20 through small discipleship groups, while Youth Fellowship seeks to help every youth know and follow Christ, and call others to do the same. But discipleship does not happen alone. Behind every young person are shepherds, coaches and leaders who listen, teach, encourage, pray and walk alongside them. One generation is investing in the next, so that they, in turn, may lead others to Christ.

EPHESIANS 4:16 Reminds us that Christ’s body grows “as each part does its work.” Our youths are not merely the future of the church. They are part of Christ’s body today, and they have a part to play.

Perhaps you are a youth looking for a community in which to grow. Or perhaps God is calling you to invest your life in the next generation.

Come, follow Christ together, and help another generation do the same.
