What does it mean to fear God as a believer?

The fear of the Lord is a pervasive and important topic. The Old Testament is strewn with commands to fear the Lord and warnings of the terrible things that will come if we don’t and the blessings that come if we do.

The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock,  in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.(Psalm 18:2 ESV)

With the current civil unrest, protests and racism on the rise among the nations, what’s our Christian response besides praying? Lord, make me an instrument of your peace,
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
Where there is sadness, joy;

When was the last time you enjoyed an intimate conversation with your parents and siblings? For me, it is during this circuit breaker period that I get to spend time with my family: doing things together, such as cleaning the house, learning to cook some dishes from my mother, washing clothes and many other chores.  Hence, I would like to share with you a scripture passage that God showed me in my quiet time recently, where God reminded me that serving Him starts from home!
