CEC classes beginning January 2006 are
now open for registration at the CEC counter:
a) Growing Strong
This 11-Sunday course
starts on 8 th January ( 9:30am and/or 11:30am ). This class is prerequisite
for those wishing to be baptized or confirmed at Glory Church . Those
transferring membership to our church are exempted on application.
b) Deepening Your Roots
This 11-Sunday
Navigators 2:7 Series Book 2 course starts on 8 th January ( 11:30am
). If you have found Growing Strong (2:7 Series Book 1) to be useful
and meaningful, this course will be even more rewarding. This second book
continues with valuable Bible Studies plus further useful and practical
Christian disciplines. You must have completed Book 1- Growing Strong
to attend this class.
c) Bearing Fruit
This 11-Sunday Navigators
2:7 Series Book 3 course starts on 8 th January ( 11:30am ). Following
Book 2- Deepening Your Roots, this third and last book focuses on developing
a consistent practice of the Christian disciplines learnt. You must
have completed Book 2 - Deepening Your Roots to attend this class.
d) Shorter Catechism - The Lord's Prayer.
This 4-Sunday course by Elder Goh Chong Ann starts on 15th January. Every
Sunday, we say the Lord's Prayer together, but do we really know what
the words mean? The Westminster Shorter Catechism explains clearly the
meanings behind the prayer our Lord Jesus taught the disciples.
